Claudia Schiffer is one of the most famous fashion models of all time. She is also well know for her great taste for clothes and shoes and gives a glimpse in her wardrobe.

Being a fashion model, Claudia has spent quite a lot of time wearing all kinds of high heels and other shoes. So she has quite an informed opinion on what to wear and when. Speaking to the German edition of Cosmopolitan Magazine, Claudia says hef life today is taken by advancing her career but also taking enough time for her family.

This means she often has to do the school run in the morning and then head off to business meetings. “I like wearing relaxed, chic looks that work for the school run and for business meetings – maybe an Isabel Marant blazer with jeans and heeled boots or a cashmere sweater-dress with tights and high heels,” she says.

She also says there is a typical time and place for some high heels. “I like sturdy heels, like those on Acne boots. Stilettos are strictly for evening events”, Claudia adds.

She is also right on the money when she says that confidence comes from within and that you can strengthen this with personal style. Apart from high heels, her personal style includes accessories and jewels.

“I love wearing all my different rings, bracelets and necklaces – every one of them carries significant meaning.”I always decide which jewellery I’ll wear spontaneously. Most of my pieces are from Solange Azagury-Partridge, Missoma and Monica Vinader. When it comes to handbags, I favour Asprey, Mulberry, Dolce & Gabbana – especially in burnt red – or even a no-name vintage bag.”

Does that mean you should wear what she is wearing? But if you do want to take some inspiration from Claudia Schiffer then by all means opt for her advice that you should wear whatever is making you feel comfortable and confident.
