This may sound a little confusing. If you also love to wear high heels so much though, you probably know what she’s talking about.
It’s about the moments when you are feeling so great on your heels, you actually don’t feel like you’re wearing them. You feel like they are a part of you and you simply glide. This means you can also forget that the heels are not exactly suitable for all situations and you may try to run in them for example or jump.
“Being on stage, there’s so much you can play around with that you can’t necessarily get away with on a red carpet,” Hailee says, speaking to WWD. “But I’m really going to try to go comfortable because at the end of the day that’s what really matters, and I tend to forget that when I’m wearing really high, high heels.”
Given that lately she has started wearing some of the highest heels we’ve seen a celebrity rock (not counting Lady Gaga, of course), we certainly understand where Hailee is coming from. Her taste in high heels comes from her love for high fashion. And for that she tanks Prada and Miu Miu.
“It all started when I was invited to their fashion show in Paris,” she explained to WWD. “I remember my appreciation for fashion, designers, models and everyone behind a brand, became so much higher knowing how much work goes into a show that lasts for less than five minutes. I really feel like the whole Prada and Miu Miu team is family. They introduced me to the real world of fashion, and I’m so appreciative of that”, Steinfeld adds. She still has a close relationship with the firm and CEO-and-founder Miuccia Prada.
