Yes, you read that right. The celebrity who was probably the biggest fan of high heels out there and was defending the high shoes, is now closing the door on them.

In an interview with The Telegraph, Victoria says her days of wearing high heels all the time are over. “I just can’t do heels any more. At least not when I’m working. I travel a lot. Clothes have to be simple and comfortable,” she said, which is exactly how she designs them now.

“I think people saw the real me when I came out in a pair of men’s trousers, a roll-neck and trainers,” Beckham said.

This is a startling difference form the tight short skirt, sky high heel wearing Spice Girl diva we’ve grown to know her as. She’s adamant that there are no health-related issues to her decision. Which is probably true, since she has always spent quite a lot of time working out and keeping in shape which is the most important thing when wearing high heels often.

“Just because I couldn’t do it every day, we are so busy in work, there is so much going on, and when you combine that with taking the kids to school it is very difficult to wear a heel all the time. But it is nice to put on a heel every now and then”, she said a while back to Vogue.
