The Zhor-Tech Digitsole heels made their debut during CES 2017 in Las Vegas, The Verge reports. They are made by the French company Zhor-Tech and have several features.
The most obvious one is the ability to adjust the height of the heels. You pair your shoes wirelessly with a smartphone app via Bluetooth. The heels can vary from 1.7 inches to 3.1inches.
All you have to do is touch a button on the app and voila! You will feel yourself rising or lowering depending on your choice. This way you can have a comfortable lower heel which is ideal for walking. Then, in seconds, you can turn those same heels into even higher and more elegant shoes for that special occasion.
Zhor-Tech offers another model of shoes. They feature heated insoles which will keep your feet warm. Also all you have to do is touch a button.
One drawback is that you will have to recharge your high heels with a micro USB port in order to keep their tech features working. The warming heels feature wireless recharging via a special pad which is a bit more practical. The shoes a about $300 a pair and should be out on the market this year.
