The 2015 London Fashion Week for Fall and Winter is done. At the event we saw lots of great collections and a glimpse of the high heels trends that await us.
Naturally some designers didn’t put a lot of focus on high heels. They had their models wear the same shoes in order to focus only on the outfits.
There are designers though that know high heels are an essential part of the outfit so they include them in their designs. So, what are
The high heels trends at the 2015 London Fashion Week
Lets check them out.
London Ethinc for example has gone with the current favorite style of the celebrities. Their AW15 collection is using a lot of high heels with ankle straps and stilettos. There are also quite a few models with low to medium platforms.
The Burberry Prorsum Fall 2015 collection is also envisioning that the outfits will look best with thin high heels. Booties with more daring detailing is also a top choice. The heels are always thin and very high.
For ROHMIR on the other hand it is all about color. They are also following the trend of classic shapes – pumps, stilettos, but are adding bright colors like pink, green, blue. If there are extra details on the shoes, they are also bold. Thick straps, laces and etc.
H By Hakaan Yildirim has also taken the bold route. Their overall collection is quite impressive. The heels are responding to the challenge. They are always high and thin. Laces are major design detail, featured on basically all models, including boots, booties, heels and etc.
Topshop Unique are always… well, unique. Their Autumn Winter 2015 collection presented at the 2015 London Fashion Week was no exception. Naturally Topshop caters to as many tastes as possible. So there are all kinds of high heels that you can see on their models. The two major trends though are medium chunky heels and knee high boots with similar chunky heels.
High heels designers also have their place at the 2015 London Fashion Week. Sophia Webster presented her collection for Fall and Winter 2015. She says a major part of the collection was inspired by old No Doubt albums. So the heels have a 90s feel to them as oppose to the 60s mod boots some experts are predicting.
So the high heels trends from the 2015 London Fashion Week are shaping up to be quite cool. The classic thin heels seem to be back after taking a back seat to chunky heels for this season. You will also have options of colors, bold details and fabrics if you wish to experiment.
