The top trends from the Spring Summer 2016 Paris Fashion Week

he Spring Summer 2016 Paris Fashion Week has just begun and it has already given us quite a few trends and headlines. Kendall Jenner is amongst the latter.

The Paris fashion designers are also joining in on the colorful fun set by the previous fashion weeks. The bright and various colors are in with full force. Freedom is also on full force. It is the thing, that the fashion world likes to call The Chloe Effect – the ability to design collections that everyone wants to wear. It means that you will be able to experiment as much as you want.

We saw this same trend in New York, Milano and London as well.

Of course, you will be able to go short, if you want that. Actually, Kendall Jenner showed us exactly this, for her return at the catwalk, wearing a few impressive outfits by Balmain. Kendall’s outfit and appearance¬†quickly became a talking point for quite some time after the event. Here you can see what we are talking about.

Balmain went all out, by securing the top models like Alessandra Ambrosio, Lily Aldridge, Gigi Hadid, Kendall Jenner, Doutzen Kroes and many more. The fashion collection was equally impressive, with it offering something for all tastes – from as short as possible skirts and dresses, to long gowns.

The high heels trends during the Spring Summer 2016 Paris Fashion Week also follow the main trends from the previous fashion weeks. Strappy high heels are “in” big time. They are the most dominating type of high heels chosen by designers, again, in many bright colors. All kinds of strappy high heels are encouraged – lace-ups, thick intertwined straps, thin straps, patterns, ties, you name it.

The heels themselves are again high and thin. The chunky variations can also be worn, but they won’t be the spring and summer kings of next year.

Some designers opt for more conservative looks as well, if all of these colors are not up to your taste.
