If there was ever a list for the most girly and most elegant high heels, Cinderella’s glass slippers would win it every time. Now these shoes are real.
A grand total of 11 of the world’s hottest footwear designers including Manolo Blahnik, Nicholas Kirkwood, Rene Caovilla, Stuart Weitzman, Jimmy Choo and Christian Louboutin have taken on the ultimate shoe challenge – to create their interpretation of Cinderella’s glass slippers, the Metro reports.
The shoes have been created to celebrate Disney’s upcoming live action Cinderella movie, which hits cinemas in March 2015. Disney has released the pictures of all of the interpretetaions of Cinderella’s glass slippers. Or should we say Cinderella’s glass high heels as you would struggle to call the shoes below slipper. Still, they are quite impressive. Take a look.
We should point out that nine of these high heels will be available to buy. Prices will range from 490 British pounds for the Jerome C. Rousseau’s interpretation and will reach into the low levels of space with the 2995 British pounds asked for the Jimmy Choo’s Cinderella high heeled glass slippers. Better save up as the items are limited and will be sold starting from March 3rd 2015 from Harrods. Sadly you won’t be able to buy the creations of Manolo Blahnik and Christian Louboutin. At least not for now.
